- Dwarfs Small figures of dwarfs, the krasnale, placed around Wrocław, each with its own name.
- Market Square The Rynek, laid out after 1241 and rebuilt after 1945, with the Town Hall in the middle.
- Salt Square Plac Solny: a square beside the Market Square.
- Hansel and Gretel Two houses named after Hansel and Gretel. Gretel is the seat of the Society of Friends of Wrocław.
- Islands and bridges The Odra splits into branches around the centre, crossed by more than a hundred bridges and footbridges.
- Tumski Bridge The steel bridge of 1889 between Piasek Island and Cathedral Island.
- Gas lamps of Cathedral Island Gas street lamps in the lanes of Cathedral Island, lit by a lamplighter each evening and put out in the morning.
- Cathedral The Gothic Archcathedral of St John the Baptist on Cathedral Island.
- Bastion Sakwowy An old bastion made into a hill park with a colonnade, on the Old Town Promenade.
- Centennial Hall, from outside Max Berg's reinforced-concrete hall of 1911–1913, on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2006.
- Iglica A steel spire next to the Centennial Hall, put up in 1948.
- Main Station Wrocław Główny: a brick Neo-Gothic station of 1855–1857, renovated in 2010–2012.
