Practical
Privacy
There are no accounts here and nothing to sign up for. What follows is what the server records when you read a page, and what it does not.
The access log
Every request writes one line to a standard server access log: the date and time, the page or file asked for, the response code and its size, the address of the page you came from if your browser sent one, the browser's user-agent string, and your IP address.
Those lines are kept for 30 days and then deleted. They are there for two reasons: to see that the site is working and is not being abused, and to count how many people read which pages.
No cookies, no trackers
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics script, no advertising tag and no embedded widget: every file a page loads — the stylesheet, the one small script, the drawings, the photographs — comes from wroclaw.io itself.
