After dark

Wrocław in the evening: the lamplighter on Cathedral Island, the view from Sky Tower, the Market Square and Tumski Bridge at night, the Multimedia Fountain, and concerts and opera. Each entry links to its own page, and to the venue for times.

The lamplighter on Cathedral Island

The lamplighter, the latarnik, lights the lamps around dusk and puts them out around dawn, so his round moves with the season: earlier on winter afternoons, later on summer evenings.

Checked 9 October 2026 The lamplighter's rounds are a service and can change.

Sky Tower after dark

The viewpoint stays open into the evening. In the months when it gets dark early, the city below is lit before it closes.

Checked 9 October 2026 Opening hours change with the season, and the terrace closes in bad weather. The current ones are on skytower.pl.

The Multimedia Fountain

The fountain runs in a season. Its shows on the hour carry on into the evening, when lighting is added to the water and the music. On Friday and Saturday evenings there are special shows as well, with pictures projected onto a screen of water.

Checked 9 October 2026 The season, the show times and the programme change every year. Check the operator’s page before you go.
